Dosone is an anti-inflammatory and rheumatoid drug. Methocarbamol (derived from guaifenesin carbamate) is a long-acting muscle relaxant that promotes muscular relaxation without affecting tone. Flumethasone is an anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic glucocorticoid that, in combination with methocarbamol, is the medicine of choice for musculoskeletal issues. It’s the same in horses.
